Support treasury, liquidity, trade finance and banking relationships for UCC Concessions for Investments in Jordan.
Scope
- Receive cash, cheques, card, voucher and automatic-debit payments; issue receipts, refunds, credits and change; and record daily cash inflows and outflows accurately.
Responsibilities
- Supervise accurate, efficient and compliant trade-finance operations, leading and developing the team.
- Establish risk controls, policies and procedures consistent with internal standards and external regulations.
- Manage bank, financial-institution and trade-partner relationships, negotiating terms and resolving transaction issues.
- Review and approve letters of credit, bills of exchange and shipping documents for accuracy and compliance with trade terms.
- Track transactions and performance, analyse trends, audit activities and implement improvements or corrective actions.
- Coordinate with sales, operations and legal teams and stay current with trade-finance regulation, market developments and practices, recommending strategy adjustments.
- Support health, safety and environmental initiatives, awareness activities and incident reporting and resolution under company and integrated-management-system policies.
Qualifications and skills
- A bachelor’s degree in accounts and finance.
- At least five years of total experience, including three years of relevant work. Two years in the GCC is an advantage.
- Advanced treasury, cash, liquidity and risk-management knowledge, with financial analysis, cash forecasting and liquidity assessment.
- Strong financial-modelling and Excel skills for cash-flow models, scenario analysis and financial-decision assessment.
- Communication and negotiation skills for banking services and relationships, and treasury-technology experience covering electronic transfers, cash pooling and investment management.
- ERP knowledge is required; functional SAP skills are preferred.

- Level-three finance strategy, financial control, budget preparation/reporting, consolidated statements, and financial planning/analysis competencies.
