Oversee project delivery, resources, costs, quality and safety in Jordan with UCC Concessions for Investments.
Scope
- Support the Project Manager across workforce, planning, cost, time, quality, contracts, safety, subcontractors, materials procurement and project-system assembly.
Responsibilities
- Guide projects from concept to completion, meeting agreed schedules, budgets and quality requirements.
- Coordinate plans, specifications and timelines with architects, engineers and contractors, and schedule site labour, materials and equipment.
- Track progress and respond to delays, risks and delivery issues with corrective action.
- Inspect work and perform quality checks against designs and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review contracts, change orders and progress records, keeping clients, stakeholders and teams informed about milestones and outputs.
- Control expenditure, forecast costs and improve delivery processes while promoting safe work among employees and subcontractors.
- Support health, safety and environmental initiatives, awareness activities and incident reporting and resolution under company and integrated-management-system policies.
Qualifications and skills
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline and the MMUP/UPDA professional engineer registration specified in the advert.
- At least eight years of total experience, including five years of relevant work. Two years in the GCC is an advantage.
- A thorough understanding of construction methods, principles and materials, plus project tools for scheduling, budgeting and documentation.
- Communication, problem-solving and leadership skills for managing site teams and coordinating activities.
- ERP knowledge is required; functional SAP skills are preferred.

- Level-three competencies in contingency workforce management, commercial and residential construction, project planning, construction budgeting and project management.
