Lead UCC engineering teams and technical project delivery in Jordan, covering design, approvals, cost and quality.
Scope
- Oversee engineering and technical operations, including value engineering, construction methodologies, method statements, design and shop drawings and material approvals.
- Manage preparation and verification of detailed construction drawings and secure technical and statutory approvals.
Responsibilities
- Set technical strategies aligned with business objectives and lead project planning, execution and completion to agreed quality, budget and deadlines.
- Guide solutions to complex engineering problems and allocate resources to strengthen project results and team performance.
- Work with multidisciplinary colleagues, clients and stakeholders to establish requirements and deliver solutions.
- Drive engineering and product-development improvements, manage risks and maintain industry and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and control project and departmental budgets, review team and project performance and take corrective action.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or engineering, with MMUP/UPDA engineer registration as specified in the advert.
- At least eight years of experience, including five years in a relevant supervisory position; two years in the GCC is advantageous.
- Deep multidisciplinary engineering knowledge and proven leadership of complex projects and interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong management of project lifecycles, budgets and schedules, with advanced problem-solving, communication and stakeholder skills.
- ERP knowledge is required; functional SAP skills are preferred.

- Level-four cost management, QA/QC, geotechnical engineering, drawings/specifications and HSE competencies.
- Ability to build high-performing teams and effective processes, provide direction, accelerate execution and optimise costs.
