Global Process Owner – Record to Report

About the role

Responsibilities

Lead cross-regional Record-to-Report teams covering general ledger, journals, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliation and close. Standardise accounting policies, process frameworks and controls across jurisdictions.

Own process documentation and responsibility/control matrices and lead automation, integration and transformation. Govern monthly, quarterly and annual close calendars and escalations; improve balance-sheet reconciliation, open-item clearance and asset/intercompany controls.

Partner with finance, tax, treasury and audit, manage audit readiness and remediation, and report performance, risks and improvement opportunities. Metrics include close speed, reconciliations, reporting/journal accuracy, control findings, automation/cost gains, deadline/SLA performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications and skills

A relevant finance, accounting, business or related bachelor’s degree; a master’s is preferred. Professional credentials such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or CIMA are specified. Ten to fifteen years of progressive finance experience must include substantial expertise in the relevant process domain.

Proven leadership within multinational operations and global teams/shared services, practical ERP experience such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics, workflow/automation knowledge, and demonstrated finance transformation and process-improvement success.

A finance/accounting-related degree and professional certification are mandatory. Direct multinational R2R experience must cover multiple legal entities, shared services, regional finance and demanding close/reporting schedules.
