Responsibilities

• Report to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and supervise room attendants for cleanliness/service standards, communicating daily section priorities.
• Promptly resolve, log and route guest concerns; attend briefings and meetings and train, coach and develop the team.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Front Office and F&B, report maintenance requirements and apply department safety/sanitation procedures and other assignments.

Qualifications and working requirements

• Written/spoken English is essential. High school/equivalent with hospitality/related post-secondary education preferred; at least two years’ hotel-housekeeping supervisory experience and proven training ability.
• Computer skills are required; hotel PMS/Micros-Fidelio experience is desirable, with Opera/comparable systems also listed. Other languages are advantageous.
• Proactive detail, organisation, supervision and communication; listen well, choose appropriate action quickly and work accurately under pressure and limited supervision with follow-through and cooperation.
