About the role
Front Desk/Reception Agent at Fairmont Amman, Amman, Jordan.
Employment: Permanent. Schedule: Full-Time. Original posting date: 2026-09-24.
Responsibilities
- Report to Front Office leadership; welcome/check in guests and settle accounts to service standards.
- Maintain accurate daily transactions, cash and currency-exchange records and balance the float; address requests, questions and concerns promptly.
- Support colleagues and cover absent team members or other managerial assignments while following hotel procedures and internal/external service standards.
Qualifications and working requirements
- Proficient spoken/written English; another language and property-management-system experience are assets. Windows Office Suite knowledge is required.
- Manage multiple tasks in a busy setting with strong interpersonal/problem-solving skills and calm guest focus; stand for at least eight hours per shift.
