Investigation leadership
- Lead forensic and integrity assignments involving corporate ethics and compliance, forensic accounting, financial and economic damages, white-collar crime and fraud.
- Understand client priorities, anticipate challenges, resolve engagement issues, prepare work plans and review electronic data, accounting records and other financial and non-financial material.
- Maintain quality working papers and team analysis; prepare investigation reports and other client deliverables and present findings.
- Coordinate with senior client staff, internal and external counsel, witnesses and regulators. Coach team members, share knowledge and manage difficult discussions.
- Participate in sales, marketing and professional events, monitor regulatory and economic developments, and meet mandatory learning and compliance requirements while managing personal and professional commitments.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent field; forensic studies are an advantage.
- Seven to ten years of relevant forensic experience in compliance, anti-bribery and corruption, or fraud, including risk management and compliance within large professional services firms.
- An industry credential such as Certified Fraud Examiner and/or CPA. This vacancy is open to Arabic speakers only.
- Availability for travel within MENA for up to 80% of working time, and strong spoken and written English.
- Leadership experience and a proven record in demanding environments; analytical and practical judgement, curiosity, interpersonal skills and respect for team members’ different backgrounds.
- Strong organisation, time management, adaptability and persistence, with a willingness to learn, collaborate and contribute new ideas.
