Valet/Laundry

Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba is recruiting a full-time Laundry and Clothing Services Attendant. The role combines careful handling and delivery of guests' clothes with professional communication and prompt responses to service requests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and help unload their belongings safely.
• Deliver laundry and clothing to guestrooms, provide excellent guest service and be available to work a flexible schedule.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests, Front Desk and At Your Service.
• Monitor the cleanliness and appearance of laundry and dry-cleaned items.
• Complete valet-service tickets correctly so items receive appropriate handling.
• Coordinate repairs with the appropriate people and collect items for delivery once completed.
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a clean professional uniform and appearance, keep proprietary information confidential and protect company assets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer calls with appropriate telephone etiquette.
• Maintain positive working relationships, help the team achieve shared goals, and listen and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns.
• Meet quality-assurance expectations and standards and carry out other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

• A high-school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• No supervisory experience is required. No licence or certification is required.

Skills and physical work requirements

The role requires excellent guest-service skills and flexibility in working hours. Tasks involve reaching, bending, twisting, pulling and stooping; grasping, turning and manipulating objects; moving, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds; and standing, sitting or walking for extended periods.
