CAD Technician

Create waste-infrastructure drawings and earthworks models at KEO in Amman. Drafting diploma, AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills and strong English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings for waste infrastructure, including landfills, transfer stations and waste rooms, transfer routing and landfill and lagoon details.
• Produce profiles and three-dimensional earthworks models for landfill designs.
• Coordinate required information and progress with engineers and work across disciplines on an integrated design.
• Convert concepts and sketches into engineering drawings suited to project requirements.
• Develop workflows and submission templates and maintain a standard-detail library.
• Use BIM tools to coordinate design progress and support the wider team with GIS knowledge where available.

Qualifications and skills

• Diploma in drafting or a related subject. All experience levels are welcomed; more than three years in a similar role is preferred.
• Demonstrated CAD experience in infrastructure, waste management or landfills.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• InfraWorks experience is preferred and GIS knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
