About the role

  • Amman Academy in Khalda, West Amman, is seeking an IT Support Officer to assist staff and support classroom and office technology. The private bilingual school teaches in Arabic and English from pre-kindergarten through Grade 12.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily technical assistance to staff.
  • Install and configure smartboards, computers, printers and other IT equipment.
  • Assist users with Microsoft 365 and their accounts.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and basic networking problems.
  • Maintain IT asset inventories and related documentation.
  • Support technology used in classrooms and offices as needed.

Qualifications and skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Previous IT support experience is preferred, but is not essential.
  • Basic familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365 and networking.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
