D&T Senior Developer – Marketing and Global Commercial

About the role

Aramex opportunity in Amman, Jordan, requisition 8379.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web/backend applications with .NET Framework and modern .NET, and responsive interfaces with JavaScript/React. Build and consume REST services, contribute to microservices, and write maintainable, testable code through design, estimation and review.

Investigate frontend/API/backend issues, fix root causes, maintain legacy systems and support modernisation and production releases. Use SQL for validation/troubleshooting and integrate internal/external services with JSON data flows.

Follow Git branching and pull-request practices, CI/CD build/test/deployment workflows and secure, reliable engineering. Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Security, Product and business teams.

Qualifications and skills

A relevant IT/computing/software-engineering degree and two to three years of professional development experience. Practical .NET, JavaScript, React, SQL, REST, JSON and Git knowledge, plus microservices and lifecycle/CI/CD awareness.

Strong requirements analysis, debugging, quality focus, communication, collaboration, ownership and willingness to learn. Docker, AWS/Azure, automated/unit testing, Agile/Scrum and enterprise application exposure are preferred.
