Role
- Join EY’s M&A Strategy and Transactions team, working with Senior Managers and Partners to assess strategic fit, analyze transactions, evaluate projected synergies, coordinate the deal cycle, support negotiations and build financial models.
Responsibilities
- Support transaction execution across the client portfolio and prepare reports and key documentation for fundraising, acquisitions and disposals.
- Keep transactions on schedule and maintain the quality of client deliverables.
- Coordinate counterparties and other advisers to meet transaction milestones.
- Understand key business drivers, identify and manage issues and risks, and provide evidence-based conclusions and advice.
- Collaborate with junior colleagues, share knowledge and contribute to team growth and development.
Required qualifications
- Corporate-finance experience in an investment bank, professional services firm or specialist advisory firm, with a record of buy-side and sell-side transactions and fundraising.
- Strong numerical, financial and modelling skills supported by a sound understanding of financial statements.
- A bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in finance or a related specialization.
- At least three to four years in an M&A environment, including a significant role in executing transactions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and a proven ability to produce high-quality professional documents for clients and internal teams.
