Client delivery
- Lead and deliver technology risk, IT audit and cybersecurity engagements across industries with minimal supervision, taking responsibility for final report quality.
- Understand client concerns, develop tailored solutions and support executives with proposals, presentations and business development.
- Bring a successful technology risk delivery record. A Big Four background or comparable consulting experience is advantageous.
Technical expertise
- IT governance and risk frameworks including COBIT, ITIL and NIST; ISO 27001; information security principles; policy development and risk assessment.
- IT audit planning and execution, assessment of complex environments, identification of control weaknesses and clear communication of findings.
- Internal controls over financial reporting, including IT general and application controls and SOX requirements, with the ability to support and coordinate with financial auditors.
- Application environments such as SAP, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics, together with operating systems and databases.
- Business continuity and disaster recovery, business impact assessments, recovery strategies and plan testing.
- Cybersecurity fundamentals, common threats and vulnerabilities, and practical contributions to security discussions.
Qualifications and professional skills
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, computer science or a related discipline, and three to five years of relevant IT audit or information security experience.
- Strong knowledge of ITGC, ITAC, security frameworks and cybersecurity practices. Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are preferred.
- Analytical thinking, problem solving, communication, presentation, project management, organisation and leadership, with client service and business development capabilities.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
