Support tax technology transformation at EY in Amman through data analytics, requirements gathering, testing and digital tax initiatives.

Role and grade

• Support Tax Technology and Transformation across corporate tax, indirect tax, accounting, compliance, reporting, e-invoicing and emerging technologies.
• The vacancy title is at Senior level; the description allows appointment from Consultant to Assistant Manager according to experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements, prepare data, validate and reconcile it, and produce analysis and reports.
• Support solution implementation and testing, improve tax reporting and data-informed decisions, and contribute to e-invoicing, digital tax and AI initiatives.
• Depending on your grade and experience, lead workstreams and deliverables, coordinate testing, mentor junior colleagues and support workshops and solution design.

Required experience and skills

• Relevant experience in tax technology, transformation, reporting, finance, data analytics or consulting. The employer does not specify a fixed number of years or a particular academic qualification.
• SQL, data validation and reconciliation, reporting, and analytics tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI or comparable products.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, requirements documentation, system integration testing, user acceptance testing and defect management.
• Clear communication with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with e-invoicing, VAT or digital indirect tax.
• Experience with AI or generative AI applications, data validation and solution adoption.
• Relevant certifications in tax, accounting, analytics, visualization, agile methods or testing.
