Senior Sales Manager

Lead account development and sales opportunities at Four Seasons Amman. Full-time Senior Sales Manager role requiring four years of sales-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop guest and client relationships, managing sales calls, visits and account development.
• Win new business and market segments under the marketing plan, serving groups and independent travellers.
• Focus accounts and bookings on revenue per available room, retention and alternative business channels.
• Follow up on leads and group sales relationships, analysing customer needs, rates and occupancy potential.
• Prepare effective call plans, negotiate with clients and contribute to marketing plans and budgets.
• Coordinate department heads to improve guest satisfaction, repeat bookings and referrals to other group hotels.
• Support the Director of Sales in evaluating results and stimulating demand during need periods.
• Monitor accounts, implement sales initiatives and maintain accurate client, activity, opportunity and group/FIT files.
• Work with the Director of Sales and Commercial Director on commercial plans and complete management-assigned projects.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration, hospitality, sales, marketing or a related discipline.
• At least four years as a Sales Manager, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Excellent spoken Arabic and English, attention to detail, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Initiative, motivation, results focus, commercial awareness and effective teamwork.
• Demonstrated business development and long-term client relationship skills.
• Knowledge of Opera is an advantage.
