Procurement and Supply Chain Supervisor

Ata Rabah is hiring a Procurement and Supply Chain Supervisor with experience in local and international purchasing, supplier negotiations and inventory management. The role requires strong planning, analytical and cost-management capabilities.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least five years in procurement and supply chain, including local and international purchasing operations.
• At least two years in a supervisory or managerial position, with strong supplier-negotiation and contract-management experience.

Required capabilities and areas of work

• Knowledge and experience in importing, exporting, shipping and customs clearance.
• Inventory management, including stock levels and reorder points, and the ability to evaluate suppliers and manage local and international supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in ERP, procurement and inventory-management systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, data analysis and reporting skills; the ability to develop technical and commercial comparisons and analyse quotations.
• Fluent English, particularly for business correspondence and supplier negotiations.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, planning, analysis and risk-management skills, including annual procurement planning and budget and cost management.
• Willingness to travel and visit suppliers and sites when needed. A valid driving licence is required where the nature of the work calls for it.
