Storekeeper — Amman Rotana

Responsibilities

Receive and inspect deliveries against purchase orders; organise inventory and storage areas and keep them clean; record stock movements and issue requisitioned goods; monitor levels and conduct stock checks; resolve shortages, damage and discrepancies with suppliers.

Experience and skills

Demonstrated storekeeping or similar experience; bookkeeping, inventory-control and warehouse-equipment knowledge. Computer and inventory-software skills, counting/reconciliation accuracy and FIFO understanding are needed. Candidates should organise and prioritise independently, communicate with suppliers and colleagues, solve discrepancies, manage time and have stamina for lifting and moving stock.
