Security Officer – Al Manara Saraya Aqaba

Al Manara Saraya Aqaba seeks a full-time Security Officer for patrols, alarm monitoring, incident response, investigations and guest safety.

Role and responsibilities

• Full-time security role at Al Manara, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Saraya Aqaba, job 26130459.
• Patrol the property, assist room access, monitor CCTV and perimeter, duress and fire alarms, secure entrances when required and inspect hazards daily.
• Respond to accidents, arrange emergency medical help or provide first aid/CPR as needed, support guests and staff in emergencies and de-escalate disturbances.
• Resolve hazards and complaints, remove unwelcome individuals according to procedure and respond to vehicle accidents and thefts.
• Write incident and shift reports, investigate, gather evidence and interview relevant parties while restricting confidential information to authorised recipients.
• Complete safety training, follow policies and quality standards, protect assets, communicate professionally and assist guests including people with disabilities.

Requirements and application

• High-school qualification or equivalent preferred. No related or supervisory experience or named certificate is listed, subject to any applicable local licensing requirements.
• Work involves computers, visual checks, prompt movement, prolonged standing/walking, stairs, confined spaces and uneven surfaces. Handle up to 50 pounds unaided and over 75 pounds with help.
