Markazia seeks a supervisor for its automotive service branch in Irbid. The role leads service advisers, technicians and workshop staff while improving efficiency, profitability, customer satisfaction, quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Run daily branch operations and supervise the service and workshop teams. Allocate staff according to workload, productivity goals and operational needs.
- Review workshop productivity, efficiency and technician utilisation; track branch revenue, gross profit and operational KPIs against business targets.
- Maintain effective vehicle reception, repair, inspection and delivery processes. Monitor workmanship and reduce repeat repairs and rework.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and coordinate with Parts and other departments to keep work and customer service moving smoothly.
- Enforce company policies, safety requirements and quality procedures. Address operational problems through corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Support customer retention, additional-service sales and growth of the service business.
- Hold team meetings and performance reviews, coach and develop staff, and analyse operating reports and improvement action plans.
- Keep the workshop clean, safe and organised.
Qualifications and capabilities
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least five years in automotive service operations, workshop management or aftersales, including at least two years supervising or leading staff in an automotive service environment.
- Strong knowledge of service processes, customer-service standards and workshop operations. Experience managing operational targets, productivity and branch performance is preferred; familiarity with dealer management systems and automotive service KPIs is an advantage.
- Team leadership, communication, customer service and complaint handling, supported by sound automotive technical knowledge, operational understanding, problem-solving and decision-making.
- Experience monitoring KPIs and managing performance; effective planning, organisation and time management, with commercial and financial awareness.
- The ability to handle pressure and competing priorities, negotiate and resolve conflict, and take a proactive approach to improvement.
- Microsoft Office proficiency, operational-report and data analysis, and strong coordination, follow-up and execution.
