Markazia is recruiting a vehicle diagnostic and repair technician in Irbid. The position combines advanced mechanical, electrical and electronic fault-finding with efficient maintenance and repair, using diagnostic equipment, technical information and a systematic approach that meets manufacturer standards.
Technical responsibilities
- Carry out advanced mechanical and electrical diagnosis with diagnostic equipment, scan tools and technical information.
- Find and repair faults in vehicle electrical and electronic systems, including wiring harnesses, sensors, actuators, control modules and communication networks.
- Troubleshoot CAN Bus communication and electronic-control-system problems.
- Maintain and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering and air-conditioning systems.
- Read and apply wiring diagrams, service manuals, technical bulletins and manufacturer repair procedures.
- Inspect and road-test vehicles and verify that faults have been resolved.
- Record diagnostic findings, repairs and required parts accurately, complying with manufacturer specifications, safety standards and company policies.
- Guide junior technicians and help with troubleshooting when needed. Keep up with new vehicle technology, diagnostic methods and hybrid and electric systems.
Required capabilities
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding, with sound knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems and diagnostic equipment.
- The ability to interpret wiring diagrams, manuals and service information and diagnose CAN communication and electronic control faults.
- Good knowledge of engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering and air-conditioning systems, including modern hybrid and electric vehicle technology.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship, with good communication and reporting.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Jordanian nationality appears among the employer’s preferred-candidate attributes.
