Fuel-Station Maintenance Engineer

Maintain fuel-station equipment in Amman, covering safety, energy efficiency, tank calibration, solar facilities and monitoring systems.

Engineering duties

• Ensure construction and maintenance contractors meet HSEQ requirements and participate in incident reporting, investigation and corrective action.
• Implement energy-efficiency policies with staff and suppliers and maintain solar-powered facilities.
• Support station maintenance and tank calibration, assess contractor performance and recommend improvements.
• Track work orders, preventive plans and completion, coordinating spare-parts requirements.
• Support POS, leak-detection and ATG installation and maintenance, supervise contractors and troubleshoot station equipment.
• Coordinate daily technical feedback with the technical manager and undertake related assignments.

Qualifications

• An Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree and at least two years of engineering and maintenance experience.
• Fluent Arabic and English; French is advantageous. OSHA and site-safety certification, PMP and solar-system training, and energy-efficiency awareness.
• Wet-stock systems, ATG, POS, leak detection and awareness of automatic car-wash installation and maintenance.
• Strong safety and cost awareness, autonomy, motivation, commitment and interpersonal skills.
