Chief Executive Officer - FMCG

Lead FMCG manufacturing, distribution, export growth and profitability in Amman, bringing at least seven years of executive management experience.

Strategy and governance

• Set growth strategy, expand export markets and introduce appropriate technology, aligning departmental plans with board objectives.
• Deliver monthly and annual sales, profit and cash-flow plans, overseeing budgets and accurate management, financial, production and quality reporting.
• Maintain governance, policies and processes, revise objectives as conditions change and present performance and recommendations to the board.
• Develop corporate culture, values and reputation with employees, customers, suppliers and partners.

Operations and commercial growth

• Direct funding, investment and capital budgets, review statements, cash, income and costs and take corrective action.
• Monitor markets and field sales, developing distribution structures, customer relationships and sales resources.
• Meet production volumes, secure compliant raw and packaging materials and improve plant performance, quality and safety.
• Lead marketing, market-share development, product and brand launches, pricing, promotions and advertising.
• Improve administration, HR, finance and resource use while resolving profitability, workforce and competitive challenges.

Leadership and qualifications

• Recruit managers with HR, clarify priorities, evaluate performance, oversee administrative matters and appoint a deputy when required.
• A Business or related bachelor’s degree; a postgraduate degree is advantageous. At least seven years as a general manager or comparable executive.
• Leadership in FMCG manufacturing and distribution, business turnaround, transformation, governance, planning, budgets and external markets.
• Strong understanding of marketing, sales, exports, manufacturing, finance, HR, supply chain, quality and operations, with leadership, analysis, communication, problem-solving and customer focus.
