Associate Landscape Architect

KEO’s allied practice InSite seeks an Associate Landscape Architect in Amman to lead landscape design, project delivery and teams, requiring at least 15 years of experience.

Landscape design and project leadership

• Guide the aesthetic and technical development of projects, accounting for resources, fees and production methods, procedures and standards.
• Prepare technical scopes, resource allocations, fee estimates and technical and financial proposals.
• Manage every design stage and lead and organize junior team members delivering assigned projects.
• Coordinate internal disciplines and manage external subconsultants.
• Plan staffing and resource utilization, conduct performance appraisals and coach staff to develop their capabilities.
• Complete other relevant assigned duties.

Qualifications and skills

• At least 15 years of relevant experience and an accredited bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, with registration, licensure or chartership through an internationally recognized professional association.
• Strong landscape design-management experience and detailed knowledge of regional construction practices and their implications for design.
• Expert understanding of codes, standards, health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Grasshopper and Rhino.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpretation of complex documents and problem solving involving multiple options.
• Strong organizational, analytical, quantitative, presentation and client-relationship skills.
