Trainee, R&D Reporting

Hikma seeks a Pharmacy graduate for full-time R&D reporting training in Amman, covering project tracking, budgets and performance dashboards.

Training overview

• This full-time Amman position supports Hikma’s MENA product-development portfolio. The official vacancy number is 12754 and the department is Solid Orals.
• The trainee gains practical exposure to project monitoring, data analysis, reporting and R&D operations through cross-functional work.

Portfolio and financial reporting

• Consolidate project schedules, milestones, budgets, forecasts and performance measures supplied by the PMO, using agreed templates and reporting cycles.
• Maintain portfolio dashboards and performance reports; flag missing or incomplete submissions for follow-up.
• Coordinate financial inputs from Finance, R&D, PMO and Pipeline colleagues.
• Help compare budgets with actual expenditure, consolidate forecasts and prepare planning-cycle inputs.

Meetings and documentation

• Prepare dashboards, reports and PowerPoint presentations for R&D leadership reviews.
• Arrange governance meeting schedules, agendas and materials, and maintain minutes, decisions and reporting records.
• Track agreed actions with responsible colleagues and support additional data requests and analyses.

Qualifications and experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, a strong academic record and an interest in analytics and R&D operations. Recent graduates with brief pharmaceutical-industry exposure are encouraged.
• The advertisement lists one to two years of experience; relevant internships or academic projects in coordination, analysis or reporting are advantageous.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency and required familiarity with dashboard or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Organisation, attention to detail, analytical synthesis, clear communication and fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to coordinate inputs across functions and handle confidential project and financial information discreetly.
• Prior R&D, pharmaceutical or other regulated-industry exposure and experience analysing large datasets in Excel are advantages.
