Test how applications behave under real operating pressure. Aspire is seeking an engineer who can translate workload models and measurements into practical improvements.
Responsibilities
- Understand stories, architecture and performance expectations with technical/business teams, then define workload models, strategy, scenarios and acceptance thresholds.
- Build and maintain NeoLoad or equivalent scripts and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability and volume tests.
- Monitor system indicators and analyze application, database, API, infrastructure and network bottlenecks; support root-cause investigation with engineers.
- Report findings and recommendations to clients, deliver testing on schedule, maintain plans for pre-release validation and improve testing tools and methods.
Required and preferred qualifications
- A computing/software-engineering or related degree and at least 4 years in testing, with substantial hands-on performance testing.
- Practical load/stress/endurance/scalability/volume testing tools, preferably Tricentis NeoLoad, and strong workload modelling, planning and result analysis.
- Web/API performance testing, REST and HTTP, and bottleneck identification; database/SQL performance and monitoring-tool knowledge are preferred.
- Interpret complex specifications, work in Agile/Scrum teams, troubleshoot effectively and explain findings to clients; awareness of ISO/SOC security standards.
