Retail Director - Electronics and Home Appliances

An unnamed Amman employer seeks a Retail Director to launch an electronics and appliances network, paying JOD 4,500–5,000 monthly.

Responsibilities

• Set up a multibrand consumer-electronics and home-appliances retail model, launch the flagship and expand the store network.
• Own divisional profit and loss, operating expenses, gross margins and commercial profitability.
• Direct categories, pricing, promotions and vendor negotiations to optimize stock turns and margins.
• Establish SOPs, workforce productivity standards, inventory systems and physical/e-commerce integration.
• Track KPIs, build dashboards and manage budgets under the CEO’s guidance.
• Lead visual merchandising, customer journeys, layouts and execution, recruiting and developing a team for rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in business, marketing, retail management, commerce or related study; an MBA is preferred but not mandatory with strong retail leadership experience.
• The advert lists professional retail/commercial management certifications.
• Ten-plus years of retail experience, including five to seven in senior corporate leadership.
• Deep consumer-electronics, appliances, telecom or large-format multibrand specialist retail experience.
• Proven ability to build or launch a brand/store network from scratch.

Terms and application
