Role
- This Amman Senior Associate vacancy focuses on HR operations and employee services across the employee lifecycle. It supports regional functions, including payroll, mobility and government-relations coordination.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR operations: onboarding, record updates, transfers, employee letters, documentation, offboarding and associated compliance checks.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and changes, validate data, support reconciliations and resolve payroll queries with payroll and finance teams, maintaining confidentiality.
- Coordinate employment documentation, visas, work permits, regional iqama requirements, renewals and status tracking with mobility and government-relations teams. Maintain accurate records and follow up promptly.
- Maintain complete employee files and required documents; support labour-law, policy and governance compliance and escalate risks or exceptions.
- Update HR systems, prepare reports and dashboards, monitor operational trackers and identify trends, gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Provide first-level guidance to employees and managers on policies and lifecycle procedures; refer complex cases to the appropriate HR lead or specialist.
- Work with HR, payroll, finance, IT, mobility, government relations and other teams to deliver services and resolve issues.
- Identify repeated operational difficulties and support more consistent, efficient, employee-focused processes.
- Handle competing priorities with careful follow-through, completing work accurately, confidentially and within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- At least four years across HR operations, generalist HR, payroll coordination, government-relations support and/or employee-lifecycle processes. Professional-services, multinational or regional experience is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of HR operations and employee-lifecycle services, with exposure to business partnering and employee-service delivery.
- Working knowledge of payroll inputs, data validation, cut-off dates, benefits and allowances, end-of-service support and employee payroll queries.
- Practical understanding of government relations, employment documents, visas, work permits and iqama-related processes. Experience coordinating internal government-relations or mobility teams is preferred.
- Understanding of confidentiality, accurate employee data, labour-law-sensitive processes and internal-policy compliance.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, organisation and follow-up skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
- Written and spoken English proficiency is required; Arabic is an advantage.
