Business Development Manager – Banking and Payments

Role

• Develop sales of banking and payment solutions in Jordan. Own the sales cycle from initial outreach through contract signing and recurring maintenance, analyze the market and build relationships with banking and financial-services leaders.

Responsibilities

• Meet and improve sales targets. Develop and execute a Jordan sales plan aligned with the company's 2022–2026 strategy and business plan.
• Manage the sales cycle with product owners, project managers and technical team leaders, ensuring effective customer engagement and a clear understanding of requirements.
• Work with the bidding team on documents and proposals that explain business needs and company capabilities. Negotiate solution and recurring-maintenance contracts.
• Use the company CRM consistently to create and maintain customer profiles.
• Analyze company and competing products, identify new markets and opportunities, and develop distribution channels with established global, regional and local firms.

Required experience

• Five to ten years in sales of banking and payment solutions, with a proven record in Jordan's banking and financial sector.
• The vacancy requires prior work with Jordan's established banks.

Skills

• Strong understanding of banking and payment systems, negotiation with decision-makers and effective engagement with employees at all levels.
• Excellent English, with strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• An organized, focused, ambitious and independent approach.
