Role

• Manage content for a product category on Majid Al Futtaim’s online platform. Develop, edit and update product data, promotional information and supporting content to improve the online shopping experience.
• The role belongs to Majid Al Futtaim Retail’s Jordan head office in Amman.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category content, including relevant product descriptions, prices, delivery schedules, country of origin and ingredients.
• Keep information current and relevant and publish updates promptly.
• Monitor product performance and remove low-demand, out-of-stock or unavailable items from publication in line with platform requirements.
• Manage category visibility and promotional campaigns and provide management with insights about existing and prospective customers.
• Collect accurate product information from merchandising teams and suppliers.
• Review and update content before digital publication to maintain accuracy and consistency.
• Understand target audiences and adapt content and communication styles to customer segments.

Required qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in e-commerce or business administration.
• One to two years creating and managing website content, with demonstrable achievements and progressively greater responsibilities.
• Understanding of social-media channels and content development for different platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong analysis and the ability to extract useful insights from large datasets.
• Retail-sector experience is an advantage.
