Electrical Technician – St. Regis Amman

St. Regis Amman seeks a Electrical Technician for repairs and preventive maintenance. A driving licence is required; maintenance experience is preferred.

Position

• Full-time Engineering & Facilities role at The St. Regis Amman, job 26129023. The description covers multidisciplinary general hotel maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests, explain solutions and perform preventive cleaning, lubrication and inspection of tools, kitchen equipment and mechanical-room systems.
• Locate and operate utility shut-offs, manage maintenance stock and parts requests and document activities and faults for shift handovers.
• Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, lighting, socket, guestroom and internet-device repairs; replace air-conditioning filters, programme televisions and enter temperature/schedule settings.
• Prepare and paint surfaces, make minor drywall/wood repairs, clean work areas and maintain outdoor irrigation and facilities, developing knowledge across refrigeration, mechanics, controls, carpentry and energy conservation.
• Apply lockout/tagout procedures, store flammables safely, report hazards, safeguard assets and confidentiality and serve guests professionally.

Qualifications and physical duties

• A driving licence is required. High-school education or equivalent and some general maintenance/surface-preparation/painting experience are preferred; hotel engineering experience is advantageous. No supervisory experience is required.
• Basic computer skills, use of stairs and ladders, bending/reaching and handling up to 50 pounds independently or heavier items with assistance form part of the role. No salary is stated; apply through Marriott without recruitment fees.
