Mechanical Technician – St. Regis Amman

St. Regis Amman seeks a Mechanical Technician for property vehicles, equipment maintenance and safety records, with two years of relevant experience.

Maintenance duties

• Perform minor routine maintenance on engineering vehicles, shuttle vans and electric carts, including oil/fluid checks, tyre pressure and wear, battery charging and spark-plug replacement.
• Clean and lubricate tools and equipment, perform preventive maintenance, control maintenance inventory and request parts and supplies.
• Keep daily operation, maintenance and safety logs with test results, readings, faults and completed work.
• Report hazards, incidents and maintenance issues, complete safety training, store flammables correctly and protect confidential information and hotel assets.

Preferred qualifications and capabilities

• Technical, trade or vocational qualification and at least two years of related experience. No supervisory experience, specific licence or certification is listed.
• Professional communication, accurate documents, telephone etiquette and cooperative teamwork.
• Practical duties include moving objects up to 50 pounds unassisted, fine motor control and hand-eye coordination, visual inspections and reaching and bending as needed.
