Distribution Driver – Jordan River Foundation

Jordan River Foundation seeks a Distribution Driver in Amman with three to five years of delivery experience and a valid driving licence.

Delivery and customer service

• Deliver products and customer orders promptly, courteously and safely to different addresses; assemble orders when needed and assist with general warehouse work.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate the delivery vehicle and keep it ready for safe use.
• Collect cash and signatures, complete required identity checks for credit-account transactions and provide accurate documents and information to management.
• Tell customers about new products and services, request feedback and resolve service complaints.
• Maintain collection and delivery records, mileage, fuel costs and problem logs; assist with the warehouse year-end physical inventory.

Requirements and job details

• Three to five years as a distribution driver in Amman, a valid driving licence, an excellent driving record and experience operating a small commercial truck.
• Detailed knowledge of target areas, good spoken and written Arabic and English and professional, courteous interaction with customers and colleagues.
• High school or equivalent is preferred. Jordanian nationality is listed among candidate preferences.
