Alternate Site Manager - Transient Aircraft Services

KBR seeks an Alternate Site Manager for aircraft services in Jordan, requiring six years of experience, US nationality and active Secret clearance.

Scope and location

• A full-time AFCAP V role supporting the Site Manager in daily transient-aircraft operations, coordination, performance and continuity in an austere, round-the-clock environment.
• Official structured data identifies the Jordan duty station as Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Azraq. The alternate manager takes charge when the Site Manager is absent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise aircraft arrival, marshalling, parking, servicing, turnaround and departure under contractual, technical-order and safety requirements.
• Enforce flight-line safety, foreign-object prevention, tool control, environmental compliance, quality assurance and documentation.
• Lead and mentor personnel, assign priorities and arrange shifts and coverage for regular, surge and contingency needs.
• Inspect work, audit compliance, identify risks, implement corrections and track performance.
• Coordinate government representatives, airfield management, maintenance operations and mission partners.
• Maintain staffing records, reports and deliverables and ensure accountability, proper use and maintenance of equipment, vehicles and tools.
• Support staff training, qualifications and readiness, operational transitions, mobilization/demobilization and special assignments.

Required and preferred qualifications

• US nationality and an active Secret security clearance are mandatory.
• At least six years in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance or transient-aircraft services, with demonstrated flight-line and servicing experience.
• Previous supervisory or leadership work and strong knowledge of ground handling, airfield safety, technical orders and maintenance practices.
• Experience supporting US Air Force transient-aircraft services or managing similar operations at Prince Sultan, Al Udeid, Al Dhafra, Ali Al Salem or Muwaffaq Salti bases is preferred.
