Calligrapher

Zarqa University is seeking a Calligrapher for its General Services and Maintenance Department. The opportunity is for a Zarqa resident with Arabic calligraphy, design, printing and installation skills.

Required qualifications and skills

• Specialised courses in graphic design and visual arts, or accredited certificates in the field.
• Courses or certificates in Arabic calligraphy design software.
• Proficiency in software for logo creation, image editing and digital compositing.
• Thorough knowledge of Arabic calligraphy styles, their rules and letter proportions.
• Ability to convert designs and lettering into editable, print-ready digital formats.
• Ability to print and install completed work.

Eligibility conditions

• Applicants must reside in Zarqa.
• Applicants must be no older than 40.
