Yarmouk University invites applications for an Assistant Professor or Full-Time Lecturer appointment in the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Business, in Irbid. Online applications are open until 17 October 2026.
Qualifications and eligibility
- Jordanian nationality. All academic qualifications must have been obtained through regular study at universities recognised by Yarmouk University.
- A doctorate in a field of Business Administration with a grade of at least Very Good, and a master’s degree in a knowledge area within Business Administration with a grade of at least Very Good.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a grade of at least Good, and a secondary-school average of at least 65%.
- The applicant’s precise specialisation will be determined by the degree-equivalency decision issued by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development.
- Applicants must not have been subject to a decision terminating their employment at Yarmouk University. The university reserves the right not to make an appointment.
Required documents
- Properly documented copies of every academic qualification and transcript, plus equivalency decisions for non-Jordanian degrees.
- A detailed publication list, with a copy of the first page of each research paper published in the last five years.
- A summary of teaching experience and courses taught, together with a summary of administrative and academic experience and community service.
- Evidence of participation in research projects or grants, where applicable.
- The QS, Times or Shanghai ranking of the university awarding the doctorate for any year during the applicant’s studies there.
- Any additional documents requested by the committees assessing applications.
