Accountant – tmart

A full-time Amman role at Talabat covering supplier accounts, inventory, costs and financial entries for tmart.

Role

• Support the growth of Talabat’s tmart grocery-store operation within the Delivery Hero group.

Responsibilities

• Handle invoicing, supplier statements, reconciliations and discrepancies, including non-trading suppliers; check supplier-business-review compliance, rebates and credit notes.
• Create and reconcile accurate supplier accounts and calculate product and item costs.
• Process and verify supplier payment requests and investigate and resolve local supplier claims.
• Ensure regular inventory counts follow agreed procedures; value store and warehouse stock and analyse inventory ageing to control assets.
• Prepare inventory-performance reports and journal vouchers for prepayments, accruals and operating expenses.

Preferred profile

• At least three years in accounting and finance, including Excel experience.
• A structured, detail-oriented approach with sound prioritisation, practical solutions and a willingness to learn through change.
• Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills to align teams and stakeholders around shared goals.
• Confidence working with senior executives and balancing stakeholder expectations, supported by strong analysis, communication and hands-on tool use.
• Fluent Arabic and English are highly advantageous.
