Senior Kubernetes Engineer

Build and maintain Kubernetes platforms in Amman with five-plus years of experience in containers, CI/CD, automation and cloud or on-premises support.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Kubernetes clusters, troubleshoot cloud and on-premises environments and enforce installation and usage best practices.
• Maintain a container-delivery platform, efficient continuous delivery and automated infrastructure for distributed architecture.

Requirements

• Five-plus years and extensive hands-on enterprise architecture, end-to-end container management, Docker, Jenkins and CI/CD experience.
• Java 8 and Spring Boot microservices, expert automation scripting and deep Kubernetes components and best-practice knowledge.
• Cluster setup, application deployment, Google Cloud automation, networking, monitoring, logging, service discovery, scheduling and load balancing.
• Messaging queues such as Kafka, 0MQ and RabbitMQ; banking experience, MongoDB and Istio are advantages.
• Applicants outside Jordan must be willing to relocate for at least six months.
