Senior DevOps Engineer

Engineer DevOps in Amman across automation, containers, cloud, CI/CD and production availability, with at least three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate solutions with varied and open-source tools and build independent web tools and microservices.
• Write Perl/Python/Chef automation and configure data sources such as Elasticsearch and Hadoop.
• Collaborate on user experience, scalability, performance and operability and support CI/CD infrastructure design.

Requirements

• A Computer Science or similar degree and at least three years in a similar role, preferably financial/banking; the general field lists four to five years.
• Maintaining 99.99% availability in large production environments; Chef/Puppet/Ansible automation and Git/Jenkins CI/CD.
• Docker/Kubernetes, AWS/Google Cloud/OpenStack/Azure and Agile/DevOps practices.
• Log transportation and consolidation using tools such as Logstash, Kibana and Splunk.
