Job description
Connect practical Python development with the payments ecosystem. The position supports payment integrations, transaction analysis and operational improvements at Tamatem.
Responsibilities
- Integrate payment providers and fintech services through APIs, investigate payment issues, and analyze transaction and reconciliation flows.
- Create payment-data reports and dashboards; evaluate and onboard new payment methods and partners with product, engineering, operations, finance and compliance teams.
Required and preferred qualifications
- 1–4 years in fintech, payments or related work; practical Python with Flask or Django, SQL, REST APIs and JSON.
- Strong analysis, problem-solving and communication across technical and commercial teams.
- Preferred: PCI-DSS, open banking or payment regulations; AWS/Azure/GCP; payment-fraud and risk concepts; ETL, data pipelines or workflow automation.
