Senior System Administrator - Automotive

Administer automotive-sector systems in Amman with six years and CCNA, covering virtual servers, networks, recovery, security and on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance, configure hardware/software and design and manage LAN systems, procedures and virtualisation servers.
• Implement backup and recovery to limit data-loss risk and manage switches, firewalls, email, VPN, wireless, LAN/WAN and telephony.
• Maintain, protect and update devices and applications and manage asset procurement, replacement and lifecycles.
• Define hardware requirements and network development plans.

Requirements and application

• An IT bachelor’s degree, at least six years in heterogeneous corporate IT networks and CCNA certification.
• Network configuration, deployment, management and troubleshooting; comprehensive VMware infrastructure knowledge, with certification advantageous.
• Active Directory, operating systems and Office knowledge, multitasking, prioritisation and adaptable problem solving.
• Willingness to be on call 24/7 and occasionally work out of hours.
