Senior Software Engineer – Flutter, Firebase & Go

Responsibilities and requirements

Join the Amman engineering team of a US vehicle-buying/recycling business serving the Chicago area, with a ten-person Jordan operations team. Its software supports dispatch, fleets, vehicle intake, inventory, payroll and staff operations used daily by operational teams.

Build Flutter web/Android/iOS applications, Firebase services including Firestore/Auth/Functions/FCM, and Go/PostgreSQL APIs. Own features from requirements through tests, deployment and production verification, and resolve user-impacting incidents quickly.

Write maintainable tested code, submit focused ticket-linked merge requests and manage GitLab CI, Codemagic, TestFlight and Shorebird releases. Protect data, monitor releases and collaborate directly with management and operations.

Strong Flutter/Dart, Firebase, SQL/database design, APIs and integrations are required, plus Go or strong Node.js with willingness to use Go. Candidates need Git/GitLab/CI/CD, mobile release experience, responsible production-data handling, independent ownership, written English and evidence of shipped systems.

Preferred: Shorebird, Codemagic, TestFlight, Play Console, Docker/GCP, maps, notifications, tracking, fleets and operational business applications. The role is on-site with some US Central Time overlap; exact hours are discussed at interview.
