Role
- Support PwC’s Human Capital services in Amman, helping employees and regional teams manage day-to-day HR administration and a consistent employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first contact for internal and external HR queries and requests, providing accurate assistance promptly.
- Maintain confidential, accurate physical and digital employee files. Coordinate induction and ensure new-hire information is recorded and processed correctly.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding from start to finish, and support preparation and issuance of employment contracts with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate HR matters with regional teams to maintain alignment and compliance; proactively address employee questions and concerns.
- Schedule meetings and HR events, organise activities and maintain calendars.
- Compile, analyse and submit regular HR activity and metrics reports. Support payroll processes and other HR projects as required.
- Keep abreast of HR practice and labour-law developments, and collaborate with regional colleagues on programmes that improve workplace culture.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- One to two years of practical HR experience, such as HR specialist, coordinator or HR administrative/executive-assistant work, within reputable organisations.
- Familiarity with labour laws and employment regulations, HR functions, payroll practices and administrative processes.
- Strong written and spoken communication, with professional interaction at all organisational levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, manage several tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- High proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email communication, tracking systems and HR reporting and analysis tools.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
