Manage IT disaster recovery and application restoration at PwC in Amman. Proven recovery, testing and governance experience and a relevant degree required.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and improve the IT disaster-recovery governance framework, aligning plans with business-impact analysis, application criticality, recovery-time and recovery-point objectives, security requirements and service controls.
- Coordinate the complete recovery programme, maintaining the master plan, critical-application inventory, recovery calendar, supplier and contact dependencies, and recovery ownership map.
- Support recovery testing, assurance and evidence management, stakeholder reporting, training and awareness.
- Provide technology leaders with impact, dependency, recovery and readiness information for disaster assessment, escalation and declaration decisions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field and demonstrated IT disaster-recovery experience.
- Strong understanding of recovery lifecycle management, RTO/RPO, criticality assessment, BIA alignment, application recovery, infrastructure dependencies and validation.
- Experience coordinating recovery tests, tabletop exercises, technical restoration tests, evidence collection, post-test reporting and remediation tracking.
- Knowledge of ITIL, IT service management, incident and change/release management, service controls and audit-evidence expectations. The vacancy states no numerical minimum experience.
