Responsibilities
- Coordinate data-quality assessments, remediation tracking, support for owners and stewards, and reporting of quality risks and improvements.
- Review and coordinate access requests and periodic entitlement reviews with business and technology teams, ensuring appropriate ownership and controls.
- Support Data Navigator and enterprise-catalogue rollout and adoption, maintain management information and answer operational DMO queries and mailbox requests with practical guidance.
- Operationalise regional governance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures; clarify owner and steward responsibilities and accountability.
- Support data risk, control, assurance and regulatory activities through evidence, action tracking and gap remediation; coordinate consistent implementation across functions and territories.
- Prepare dashboards, reports and presentations showing progress, issues, risks and decisions, and contribute to strategy, lifecycle, classification and responsible data-use initiatives.
Experience and skills
- Approximately three to seven years in data management, governance, quality, risk, controls, technology governance or a related discipline.
- Understanding of data governance, quality, ownership, metadata, access controls and lifecycle management; experience supporting programmes with business and technology stakeholders.
- Analytical problem-solving, translating policy into action, managing competing priorities, confident communication at different seniorities and strong reporting and presentation skills.
- Comfort in a fast-moving, multidisciplinary, multi-country environment. Be proactive, practical and organised, balancing programme and operational work, navigating ambiguity and following actions through.
- Professional-services, financial-services, regulated or complex-organisation experience is desirable, as are Collibra or similar tools, quality frameworks and remediation, access governance, entitlement reviews or identity/access processes.
- Risk and Quality, compliance, governance or control-function experience is desirable. No mandatory academic qualification is specified.
