DevOps Engineer – Azure Cloud Delivery

Build Azure delivery pipelines and infrastructure automation at PwC in Amman. One to three years’ DevOps or cloud experience, a relevant degree and English required.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. Build serverless and containerised applications with Azure Container Apps, Functions and Web Apps, using JFrog for artefacts.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Azure Bicep, meeting security, scalability, cost and cloud-governance expectations.
• Automate workflows and improve deployments with data engineers, developers and architects; monitor and troubleshoot performance with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Provision and automate AI/ML environments, maintain security and VNET/VPN restrictions and RBAC policies, and retain compliance and audit documentation.
• Undertake other manager-assigned work; the position is not limited to the listed activities.

Requirements

• One to three years in DevOps or cloud engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field. DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate or relevant certifications are advantages.
• Hands-on Azure DevOps, Container Apps, ACR, Azure Monitor and Terraform/Bicep experience; familiarity with Docker, Git, YAML pipelines and CI/CD good practice.
• Networking, Azure AD, RBAC, Managed Identities and security-policy knowledge, and scripting experience in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Strong Azure infrastructure, automation and deployment understanding; analytical problem-solving, communication and cross-functional teamwork. Excellent written and spoken English.
