Investigate workplace conduct with PwC in Amman. Three to nine years’ relevant experience and excellent English reporting required; Arabic is an advantage.
Responsibilities
Support and conduct regional ethics and business-conduct investigations from opening to completion, managing conduct, grievances, misconduct, harassment and retaliation cases.
Interview reporters, witnesses and subjects neutrally and confidentially; gather and evaluate evidence, establish key facts and credibility, and contribute to findings and recommendations.
Prepare investigation summaries and reports for senior leaders, collaborating with HR, Legal, Risk and Quality and business colleagues strictly on a need-to-know basis.
Maintain complete case records and trackers under governance requirements, and reinforce integrity and accountability through consistent use of the Code of Conduct and ethics framework.
Experience and education
Three to nine years in ethics/conduct, employee relations, workplace or compliance investigations, HR case management/advisory, Risk and Quality or legal operations.
Experience with sensitive grievances, disciplinary issues, conflicts, misconduct, harassment or retaliation; manage several cases in a structured, high-volume environment with accuracy and confidentiality.
Interviewing, evidence collection, documented findings and fact-based decisions, including written management reports and recommendations. Large corporate, professional-services, regulated or matrix-organisation experience is preferred.
Direct ethics investigation experience is advantageous, not essential; strong employee-relations and workplace-investigation backgrounds are welcomed.
A bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, Business Administration, Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Compliance, Risk Management, Organisational Behaviour or a related field. Relevant professional qualifications in investigations, ethics, mediation, employment law, HR or risk are advantages.
Skills and behaviour
Written and spoken English is essential, particularly clear, concise investigation reporting. Arabic is advantageous; labour-law or regional regulatory awareness is a plus, not mandatory.
Strong fact-finding, interviewing, questioning, active listening, stakeholder management and objective analytical judgement.
Manage concurrent cases and understand conduct principles, ethics frameworks, investigation protocols and employee relations.
Integrity, professionalism, discretion, emotional resilience, impartiality, calm under pressure and empathy, with confidence engaging employees, managers, directors and partners.
