Role
- Join the AI Centre of Excellence in Amman as a product-owner/business-analysis specialist. Work with product owners, architects, engineers, experience designers and business teams to deliver AI and generative-AI products through an Agile lifecycle.
Product and business analysis
- Maintain and refine product backlogs; translate objectives into epics, features, user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
- Prioritise work by business value, customer needs and dependencies. Prepare backlogs for sprint planning, track features and support release plans.
- Explore stakeholder objectives and pain points; gather, analyse, validate and document functional, non-functional and business requirements.
- Produce process maps, user journeys and functional specifications. Align technical solutions with needs, define minimum viable products and identify later enhancements.
Delivery and collaboration
- Facilitate discovery and requirements workshops, connect business and delivery teams, clarify priorities and ambiguous requirements, and agree intended outcomes.
- Communicate progress, risks, dependencies and decisions throughout delivery.
- Support AI, generative-AI, automation and transformation initiatives with Scrum teams; coordinate user acceptance testing, business validation and adoption.
- Apply Responsible AI principles and centre governance. Produce clear delivery documentation, use feedback to improve products and processes, and share knowledge across the team.
Requirements
- Three to five years in business analysis, product ownership or delivery, digital transformation or technology consulting, including delivery of digital, AI, analytics, automation or enterprise-technology solutions.
- Agile delivery experience with Scrum or Kanban, stakeholder-workshop facilitation and cross-functional product and engineering collaboration.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field. Agile qualifications such as CSPO, PSPO, PSM or Agile BA and business-analysis qualifications such as CBAP, CCBA or ECBA are advantages.
- Skills in requirements analysis, user stories, backlog refinement, process mapping, functional and non-functional specifications, acceptance criteria and requirements traceability.
- Understanding of AI, generative AI, LLMs, automation, analytics, AI product lifecycles, Responsible AI and digital transformation.
- Sprint and release planning, user acceptance testing and change-impact assessment skills; familiarity with Azure DevOps, Asana, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft 365.
- Structured analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management and workshop leadership. Collaborate effectively, learn continuously and remain productive in fast-moving delivery environments.
- Excellent written and spoken English. A customer-value product mindset, ability to connect strategy, user needs and technology, simplify complex issues, manage ambiguity and explore emerging AI technology.
