Responsibilities
- Set testing standards for AI, generative-AI and machine-learning solutions, validating model performance, reliability, accuracy and governance.
- Partner with engineers, data scientists and product teams to embed Responsible AI and quality from design onward.
- Lead QA strategy and governance across projects, products and delivery teams, aligning quality frameworks and controls with business objectives.
- Manage testing throughout software lifecycles, covering functional, regression, integration, performance, security and user-acceptance testing. Apply risk-based methods and appropriate coverage.
- Advance automation, continuous integration and continuous testing. Lead defect management, root-cause analysis and quality improvement.
- Agree quality goals and success measures with engineering, product, architecture and business leaders; manage resources, priorities, budgets and schedules.
- Design test strategies for AI applications, enterprise platforms and digital products. Approve plans, execution reports and release sign-off recommendations.
- Report quality metrics, risks, defects and progress; lead production-readiness reviews and post-release assessments.
- Build and coach QA teams, develop performance, share knowledge and improve practices. Support client engagements, audits and compliance involving testing and quality controls.
Requirements
- At least eight years in software quality assurance, quality engineering or testing leadership.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proven QA-team leadership and management of testing across multiple workstreams; strong testing methodology, test management and defect-lifecycle knowledge.
- Experience implementing and scaling automation frameworks and quality-engineering practices; strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and modern development.
- Experience with JIRA, Postman, Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, Azure DevOps or equivalent tools, and testing enterprise applications, cloud platforms and digital products.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder and testing-risk management. Ability to govern quality and releases, define metrics and reporting dashboards, and develop QA professionals at different levels.
