Responsibilities

• Work in Engineering at Mövenpick Tala Bay under the Chief Engineer/supervisor, performing preventive/corrective plumbing maintenance and responding to breakdowns.
• Inspect, repair and replace pipes, valves, taps, toilets, showers and pumps; promptly address leaks, maintain hot/cold-water pressure/flow and assist tank maintenance.
• Inspect rooms, public/kitchen/staff areas and support installations, refurbishment and construction; document work and replaced materials and maintain tools/workspaces.
• Apply standards and PPE, report major defects/hazards, cooperate with departments and conserve water/energy while protecting guests and colleagues.

Qualifications and working requirements

• Plumbing experience, preferably in hospitality; a plumbing/related technical qualification is preferred.
• Knowledge of systems, tools, materials, maintenance and fault diagnosis. Basic electrical/mechanical understanding is advantageous. Communicate, cooperate, work accurately/reliably and accommodate flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
