Junior Mechanical Engineer

Moayana Technical Consultancy seeks a junior mechanical engineer in Amman to support product evaluation, inspection, testing and technical conformity assessments.

Role context

• The company provides technical evaluation, testing, inspection and conformity-assessment services for products and equipment. The junior engineer supports these activities under its engineering and certification procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical product assessments and technical evaluations, inspection, testing and conformity checks.
• Review specifications, drawings, manuals and supporting technical documents, and prepare assessment reports.
• Support senior engineers during inspections, audits and tests while keeping accurate findings and results.
• Evaluate products against applicable mechanical requirements and follow internal quality procedures.
• Discuss documentation requirements with clients and manufacturers when needed, review test findings and identify non-conformities.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a valid mechanical-engineering certificate or professional certification, as requested in the advert.
• Fresh graduate or zero to two years of relevant experience, with mechanical-engineering fundamentals and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Analytical, documentation and technical-reporting skills, good English, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and within a technical team. Residence in Jordan is listed as preferred.

Preferred capabilities

• Familiarity with mechanical standards, testing, inspection and conformity assessment, plus basic understanding of ISO/IEC or product-certification concepts.
• Interest in inspection, auditing and quality assurance, with readiness for field inspections when required.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and sound technical-documentation skills.
